Most of what we supply never appears on this site. We hold a small selection of stones so you can see the standard we work to. Everything beyond it is sourced to order from our family's house in Bogotá, against the brief you give us.
Tell us the size, shape and budget you are working to. We look in person, and you get photographs and video of what we find within 48 hours — loose, or set through the family workshop. There is no obligation and nothing to pay to ask.
This composes a message for you. Nothing is sent or stored until you press the button and send it yourself.
A small holding, available now. Most stones are sourced to order — tell us what you need.
A selection from what is held in Bogotá — single stones, matched pairs and parcels, chosen in person, one at a time. Each has been weighed and measured at the bench.
These are working reference shots, not finished photography: taken on a phone, on a plain card, unretouched and uncorrected. They are here so you can see the material honestly rather than at its most flattering. Final photography, to a fixed light and a grey reference, is still to come — and we would rather show you these than show you something we had improved.
Weights, measurements and video of any stone are available today, on request, as is anything not shown here.
Colour on screen is not a substitute for seeing a stone. Ask for video, or for the stone on approval, before you decide.
We supply loose stones, and we make finished pieces. Setting and manufacture are carried out by the family workshop in Bogotá, which has been working emeralds since 1942.
The process is the same either way. You send a brief. We source stone options and send you photographs and video of each one. If the piece is to be made, we agree the design against the stone you have chosen, and the workshop makes it. Rings, pendants and earrings, or bespoke to a drawing.
Because every commission depends on the stone, the metal and the work involved, pricing and timelines are quoted per commission rather than listed here.
Every stone is Colombian, and every stone comes out of the western emerald belt in Boyacá — the country's historic emerald country, a few hours north-west of Bogotá.
We buy from Muzo and the mines around it: Coscuez, Peñas Blancas, and the Maripí district — La Pita, Cunas, Totumos — along with Quípama. Muzo is the name the world knows; Coscuez and La Pita have at times out-produced it, and the material coming out of that belt is why Colombian emerald is the standard everyone else is measured against.
Buying across the district rather than from a single mine is deliberate. It means we select on what a stone actually looks like rather than on the name attached to it.
